These 1988 images are excerpts from the award-winning multi-media documentary "Peace Child in Latvia".  The show documented a historic cultural exchange between Soviet and American high school students, back when the US was still referring to the Soviet Union as "The Evil Empire".  It is now available on the web; click here for a free viewing.
