Blue Dot – the “H.A.L.” of Denmark

This eerie device, reminiscent of HAL from 2001: A Space Odyssey, is a travel card reader. You “check in” at the beginning of your trip, and “check out” at the end. A central computer calculates the price of travel and sends an invoice once a month.
