<p>Dear Friedman Archives Seminar alumnus,</p>
<p>Hello, it's been a long time!!  I hope life is good and stress-free and that you're all looking forward to a great new year.</p>
<p>I'm writing to ask you a favor.  I'm applying for a professorship position at a local university and they're asking for examples of some of my student's work.  I'm guessing they want to see how effective my teaching skills are.  And since you've attended my seminar, technically you can be considered a student.</p>
<p>Could I trouble you to email me one of your favorite images?  I think the committee will be looking for technical as well as creative excellence.  You'll get full credit of course.</p>
<p>Now for the fun part... I need your sample within the next 2 days.  (Then I'm sure it will be 'hurry up and wait'...)</p>
