Disk Drive and Clouds

Storage density for the disk drive has almost doubled every year, and the price per megabyte drops even faster as time goes on. The mirror-like surface is the topmost platter, each platter has two sides and there are 3 or 4 platters inside each enclosure. One day our grandchildren will laugh when they learn that computers in our day had tiny mechanical disks spinning inside.
